重拾被遗忘的最好时光 炼成舞台上的最后胜利 　　2017 年，香港天后级女歌手容祖儿于香港演艺学院歌剧院一连举办十七场「Joey · My Secret · Live」演唱会，演唱会以历年非派台歌曲（Side-track）为主，因此次选择融合舞台剧形式的小场馆演唱会，入场人数有限，以致众多歌迷一票难求，新颖的演出形式也引爆全港网络讨论。 　　这次演唱会起源于 2010 年「Concert Number 6」尾唱的安歌（Encore）点歌环节，当时歌迷不断要求容祖儿献唱「去火星恋爱」及「麻烦你」等非派台作品，祖儿便打趣道：“不如揾次整个 sidecut 演唱会呢！（不如找次机会举行一场非派台歌曲演唱会吧！）”。事后祖儿初有忘记此承诺， 被歌迷提醒后祖儿曾不断向公司提出举行 Side Track 演唱会的主意，唯其公司不断反对及拒绝。 　　直至 2016 年 5 月，网络红人亦是容祖儿歌迷的 King Jer 于其 Facebook 专页举办「容祖儿 Sidetrack 投票活动」，吸引过万名网民参与投票，事件引来其唱片公司英皇娱乐关注，令其公司态度软化，遂促成这次被港媒评价为「香港乐坛演唱会史上一里程碑」的演出的诞生。

本剧改编自清水玲子所著同名漫画，以科学警察研究所的法医第九研究室，通称“第九”为舞台，利用特殊的MRI技术再现死者的生前记忆。拥有罕见容貌、惊人记忆力和敏锐洞察力的薪刚（板垣李光人 饰），是第九的创始成员兼室长。由于某个事件，既是好友又是同事的铃木克洋（中岛裕翔 饰）去世了，在薪的面前，被分配到了一模一样的新人搜查员青木一行（中岛裕翔 饰）。两人看到了死者直到临终都隐藏着的“想法”和“秘密”，虽然心中抱有罪恶感和纠葛，但仍为解决难案而奋斗，成为无可替代的搭档。
